How Capableprep handles your information

This Privacy Policy explains how Capableprep collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our Digital SAT practice platform.

Information We Collect

Account information, such as your name, email address, and authentication profile when you sign in.
Practice activity, such as selected tests, test progress, answers, scores, marked questions, and completion status.
Billing information processed by Stripe, such as subscription status, Stripe customer ID, payment status, and invoice records. Capableprep does not store full card numbers.
Technical information, such as browser type, device information, log data, and basic usage events needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

To create and manage your Capableprep account.
To provide Digital SAT practice tests, progress tracking, score review, and subscription-based access.
To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent billing fraud through Stripe.
To maintain security, debug errors, improve the product, and respond to support requests.

We use Appwrite for authentication, account sessions, database storage, and application infrastructure.
We use Google OAuth or Apple OAuth when you choose to sign in with your Google or Apple account.
We use Appwrite email and password authentication when you choose to sign in directly with your email address.
We use Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and payment processing.
These providers process information according to their own privacy and security terms.

Capableprep and its service providers may use cookies, tokens, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect sessions, and operate core application features.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent sign-in or practice features from working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only when needed to operate the service, process payments, comply with law, protect users, or work with infrastructure providers under appropriate safeguards.

We keep account, practice, and subscription records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
You may request deletion of your account information, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, or billing purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information.
No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues quickly.

Capableprep is intended for SAT preparation users and is not directed to children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
